We believe continuous support at various levels will lead to positive transformation in the children we work with. We seek your financial support towards D.H.I.C programming components. Wondering other ways to be involved? VOLUNTEER! Demere Houston Initiative for Change is not

just looking for volunteers who want to donate financially. This is an opportunity for you to serve Cleveland’s unprivileged and expose yourself to a population you would not otherwise encounter. D.H.I.C need volunteers ready to demonstrate compassion and commitment because in their core

they understand helping others matter. And for the ones who are not sure where they fit in, maybe you can test drive your passion and have a great idea of how you can donate something we have not thought of yet. We are open to worthwhile any suggestions as long as it serves the greater good.

 

Here are some opportunities for how you can volunteer for D.H.I.C....

 

Event volunteer: Do you have a background or knowledge in event planning?

Or maybe you have an insane talent for helping others and getting things done? We encourage you to

reach out to us.

 

Writers: Do you blog? Are you interested in interviewing D.H.I.C. staff and students to tell their

personal stories about how D.H.I.C. has made an impact on them? This might be the opportunity for

you!

 

Photographers: Do you have a talent for photography? Consider capturing D.H.I.C moments in

progress to commemorate the growth of our organization.

 

Can you lead by example? Be a role-model and a support system to a group of children by providing

after school support.

 

Videographers/ Film maker: Do you have flair to inspire others through film? We’d love to see what

you can create..

 

Grant Researchers/Writers. Do you have a knack for matching grants with organizations like ours?

 

Do you have a successful record of having grants awarded? We’d love to see what’s possible!
